The Philippine College of Health Sciences Inc. is a school founded by Dr. George Cordero in 1993 and is located at Recto Avenue in Manila. PCHS aims to transform and develop students into self directed, responsible, and world-class professionals. The College produces graduates that top the nursing and radiology technician board examinations.

The Philippine Colleges of Health Sciences, Inc. (PCHS) was born on February 1 1993, the birthday of its first President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dr. George Cordero.
The School was conceived as complimentary to Dr. Cordero's review center, the Institute for Review and Special Studies popularly known as INRESS. PCHS first location was a 3 story rented building with 10 classrooms in Coromina's St. along Claro M. Recto Avenue. Dr. Cordero received his investiture as President in 1996.
PCHS opened its doors on June 1994 with 124 students, the first baccalaureate program it offered are Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Medical Radiology and X-ray Technology and Psychology. Its post-graduate program include the Master of Arts in Nursing, Education and Management and Doctor of Education and Doctor of Philosophy on the succeeding years its student population breached the one thousand mark and it almost reached the three thousand-student enrollments.
As a testament to his passion and dedication in providing high quality and cost-effective education, Dr. Cordero transferred to his newly acquired building, the Dona Narcisa Building along Recto Avenue. All classrooms and offices are fully air-conditioned and with state-of-the-art laboratories, PCHS is considered young as an academic institution yet it has transformed the lives and influences the future of thousands of students. Several PCHS students garnered top places in professional examinations and many are now occupying respectable position in various private and government institutions both local and international.
The Mother of Pearl is known for its capacity to transform sands perceived as irritants, by coating it as a form of protective mechanism with the same iridescent material that the shell is made up of, into a priceless gem called [PEARL].
Just like the mother of pearl, the Philippine College of Health Sciences Transform its students to become world class professionals that would lead them towards a priceless future.
